  5. Hey all you top notch coders of those
  6. Amos Extensions, why not write to any
  7. of the AZ team and let us know your
  8. secrets ?

  10. There are many, myself included, that
  11. would love to know the ins and outs of
  12. writing our very own extensions !!!
  13.  
  14. Basically we need a tutorial on this
  15. subject which everyone can follow !
  16.  
  17. Easier said than done I know, but with
  18. a bit of effort, everyone who is a
  19. master with Amos should be churning
  20. out extensions.  After all, if Steve
  21. Bye can code with Amos, then we are
  22. all masters !   Only joking Steve !

  29. Seriously, since our long term friends
  30. at Europress have seen fit to leave us
  31. with no support or updates, it's up
  32. to us to keep Amos alive and kicking.

  34. The more we learn, the better chances
  35. of Amos staying at the top.

  37. If we, the users don't support it,
  38. then I'm afraid Amos is gonna go down
  39. the fatal path of Doom and many of the
  40. great products will become so sparse
  41. that PD, Licenceware etc. will also
  42. become doomed !!!  It's a fact.

  44. Without decent PD and Licenceware, the
  45. Amiga is probably gonna die out too !
  46.  
  47. Surely we don't want that for our best
  48. friend (huh) do we ?
  49. @1I'm not just asking for serious coders
  50. to write in with tutorials.  Oh no !

  52. Even if you have just completed a neat
  53. game, utility or demo, why not send in
  54. the source code to us in a Step By
  55. Step guide that everyone can learn and
  56. enjoy ?  If you don't want to give us
  57. all your graphics or sounds, don't
  58. worry.  Just add in some basic Amos
  59. screens as these would do I suppose.

  61. After all, it's the code we are
  62. interested in.  Everyone has at least
  63. one production that they are proud of
  64. and surely you all have more Handy
  65. Hints that we haven't included in any
  66. issue of AZ yet ?  C'mon, get them
  67. sent in to any AZ member.

  99. It's 1995 and AZ is set to become the
  100. B I G G E S T  Amos Disk Mag for the
  101. Amiga.  (The X-Mas issue was in my
  102. view the most impressive Amos Disk
  103. Mag ever !)

  105. So if you have never contributed in
  106. any way to AZ, shame on you !

  109. Send in some Articles, code, graffix,
  110. sound or music files.  Anything at all
  111. to do with Amos, we want it.

  114. I really hate all the sad gits that
  115. don't want to share their Amos secrets
  116. with other users !  After all, where
  117. do you think they learned all their
  118. secrets from ?

  124. family entertainer almost in the same
  125. league as Bruce Forsyth but just
  126. can't seem to get that pose !

  128. Lee shares his secrets with us, he
  129. doesn't have to.  How many of you have
  130. used some of his techniques from the
  131. source code on past issues of AZ ?

  133. Did you credit him ?  Maybe you have
  134. looked at some of the source on AZ and
  135. have been able to improve it beyond
  136. anyone's expectations !  Let us at it.
